A bad credit debt consolidation loan is often times something that is meant for the purpose of taking advantage of you. As with most all other consolidation loans, you are generally placing another lien on your home, which means if you default on your consolidation loan, they can come after your home. For most people, this is not a problem because the consolidation loan they got is a healthy one and one that they can maintain. But for others who end up with a bad consolidation credit debt relief loan, they may be facing foreclosure instead of bill collector calls for a past due credit card.

What credit cards can people with bad/limited/no credit apply for?
I’ve applied for a visa, capitol one, mastercard, chase, discover, just about all of them. I have student loans out, that went almost a year without being paid, and I’m just now able to get caught up. However, I still have bad credit. Maybe a score of 4.3 something. What other credit cards are there to apply for??
Get a secured credit card; they are basically guaranteed approvals.
You need to deposit money to the credit card bank which is used as collateral for your card and because of this, anyone with any type of credit will be approved. They report the the credit bureaus, so you can establish or re-establish good credit history provided you pay on time each month.
