A wireless credit Card Processing software is a good solution for your business, whether you have a big establishment or a small store. The best part about this card processing software is that there is no need to buy additional hardware to have it installed in your current system. You can use your existing Windows-based or Mac-based computer or laptop in processing all major cards transaction real-time. This wireless merchant account was named as such because you have the capability to accept any card transaction—debit or credit—from almost anywhere. In addition, the transactions are easier and safer. For business owners and sales agents who are often on the go, you can always bring this card reader anywhere. Thus, in case of a once-in-a-lifetime deal, you are ready for the said opportunity.

There are two ways to use Mobile Card Processing. The first, called swipe account, requires customers to be present during a transaction. Another is through a MO/TO or mail order/telephone order account, which does not require the customer to be present when the transaction is made. In this type of account, the transactions are made over the phone wherein a key is entered into the terminal, or the transaction is processed on the Internet. Complicated as it may sound, wireless terminals are very simple to use just like a normal credit card terminal. They only are smaller and the technology used give them the capability to transact wireless. If you are familiar as to how cell phone works, the technology is the same.

If you have a laptop, you can use it as a wireless terminal for your Mobile Credit Card transactions. You only need to have a USB swiper and connect it to the laptopn to make it work. The swiper is where you will swipe your credit card and will serve as a gateway of the merchant account. Make sure however that you have a WiFi connection or a wireless broadband service in order for the transaction to work. In addition to the laptop, a smartphone can also be used as card terminals although it will not have a printing option. When you decide to get a wireless credit card reader, most companies offer free trial periods that you should definitely take advantage of. This way, you get to try out the systems of the said companies and find out which works best for you and for your business. Do not forget to open a merchant account in case you decide to apply this system into your store.

The Real Hustle – Card Reader

USB Card Reader Software?

Our business recently contracted a USB credit card reader from a financial merchant. The package came with no software and the reader itself was not a plug and play type machine. I talked to customer service and they were no help. It’s pretty obvious that I’m going to need some type of software, does anyone know what I can use? I’ve heard of Shopping Cart and PayFuse, are these good programs, do they have anything to do with this?

Thanks.

I am sure I would be able to help you, however with out knowing what type of credit card reader you have and how you plan on using it, it is very difficult. If you could provide more info(is it a magtek, IDTech, Pos-X, etc and possible model number and are you using this with a terminal, POS software, web terminal, etc). With this info I would be able to give you answer. Most usb readers are quite easy so I am pretty sure this is a simple problem.
