Credit Card Advice for Young Adults
i was not approved for any credit card..?
that i applied to.
capital one – young adults card/ with a limted history of credit
and also a discover card.
they both mailed me a letter saying the reason they did not approve me was because i had missing or unavailable information in my credit report.
it couldnt be that its because i have no credit history.. of course i have no credit history im a freshman in college.
my relative had no credit at all and they approved her.. what could be missing or unavailable in my report? what does that exactly mean?
also, t mobile denied me also.
what could be going on?
i have been with my second job for about 5 months.. but my previous job for 1 yr.
i have no credit history at all… ive never purchased anything to obtain credit.. thats why i am so confused.

sounds like you dont necessarily have bad credit but you have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many inquiries on your credit report. what this looks like to companies is that you are desperately seeking credit at a rampant rate and when they see so many inquiries tehy are scared off.
