if i order food with my credit card will they give me cash back if i ask?
im about to order some food for delivery cuz i dont have my car. i dont have my credit card either but i have the number memorized. if i ask for cash back will they give it too me?
No – they won’t do this – you never get cash back on a credit card. If you want cash off your credit card, you would need to go to a bank and get a cash advance and pay the applicable fees.
If you have a debit card, you can ask for cash back ONLY if you are doing a pin-pad transaction – meaning you have to put in your number at the store. You can’t do that for delivery since they do all the charges at the store.
It is highly doubtful they will even do the transaction without the card anyway. They need to take an imprint at the door to prove they saw the card – and they need the name on the card and check signatures.
Honestly – would you want just anyone to get merchandise on your credit card account based only on having the account number? Geez, that would be an invitation to commit fraud if they allowed it!
