I have an egold account and am trying to buy gold for it in Europe.?

I have a problem with egold. In theory it is a fantastic system. In practice, all egold exchangers I have looked into require you to wire funds to them to pay for transactions or use Western Union, all of which are very expensive. To illustrate, say I want to pay B in Australia $100 using egold. I find a competitive egold exchanger who is happy to supply me with gold for only 2% commission and then sell it for 1% commission. Looks like the transaction will cost me $103 which is not bad so I sign up. Then I discover I must wire the egold exchanger the money, the minimum wire fee being $35. Its now costing me $138 to pay B. What I am looking for is an egold exchanger in Europe who will let me pay them by crediting their account through the local CCC IBAN clearing system which is virtually free and instant. Does anyone know of a good economical egold exchanger that allows you to pay them in this way?

Are you sure it’s a legitimate operation?
