How do I Acquire a Navy Federal Credit Union ‘Access Number’?
What exactly is a Navy Federal Credit Union ‘Access Number’ and more importantly; How do I acquire one? Their website was less than useful on answer the question on what one is or how to obtain one.

Is that to say that in order for me to Apply for a Navy Federal Credit union Credit Card, I must first obtain a Navy Federal Credit Union checking or savings account?

The access number is given to all account holders. Most receive it in the mail about 2-3 days after opening an account. If you don’t remember it, the easiest thing would be to recover it online…just enter your birthdate, SSN, etc. Or visit your local branch and show your ID. If you call the 888#, you will need the same info and possibly your last statement to answer a random security question.
